Ad Budget Calculator: how much do you need to spend to hit your goal?
Guessing your ad budget is how money gets wasted. Start from the revenue you actually want, and this tool works backwards through your order value, conversion rate and cost per click to show the spend, clicks and orders required.
This is a top-down model. If the required budget looks too high, the fastest levers are usually a higher conversion rate (better landing pages) or a higher average order value (bundles and upsells), not just cheaper clicks.

Frequently asked questions
How much should I spend on ads?
Work backwards from your revenue goal. Divide the goal by your average order value to get the number of orders needed, then use your conversion rate and cost per click to calculate the required spend. This tool does that math for you instantly.
What is a realistic conversion rate?
For ecommerce, 1-3% of website visitors is typical. For lead-generation landing pages it can be 5-15%. If you don't know yours, start with 2% as a conservative estimate and refine it once you have real data.
Why is my required budget so high?
Usually it's a low conversion rate or a low average order value, not expensive clicks. Improving your landing page conversion rate from 1% to 2% halves the traffic (and budget) you need for the same revenue.
